I tried using the sticky's, and the only remotely close "disease" would be dropsy. Can you please look at this picture of one of my loaches and confirm what is exactly the case? The loach in question is swimming around, not acting lethargic, and seems to be eating fine. My wife claims that his swimming is similar to "waddling" for reference - probably because of being lopsided!

Thanks for the help.

Dropsy usually leads to "pineconing" of the entire body. Are his scales sticking out? Is he asymetrical? Have you tried feeding peas (for constipation)?

I feel silly now.

Don't worry about it - honest mistake

Since the swelling seems localized, you can rule out dropsy.

Good to know - I am going to use the peas tonight to see if that helps. Thanks!
