yea same here

some how last night i spent 6 hours carving out
on how i want it to look

later on tonight i will take pics of what i got

We're still waiting...

so when you said tonight did you mean next week or what lol jkjk cant wait to see the pics when ever you get them uploaded

•kicks foam dust•

"Aww but If I show you anything now it will ruin the illusion"

So all I can say for now is that I am doing
One more day/night of carving

Tomorrow if I can't get the sika
I might have to go to ace hardware
To get my items although I was upset that I wasted alot of time and sheets of foam

I hope to get this going to the best optical illusions possible

But if y'all really want a sneak peek I have to geta five response reply

But before I continue

U guys think I can get color sharpies and color it in and then cover with cement and
After that epoxy glue the whole thing over
And or cement it color with sharpie and epoxy it

Give me ur points of what to do about this

well add one to the list of seeing what you have done so far.
Not sure what good the sharpies do since it will be covered by cement, unless you are just looking to figure out color combos ahead of time?

As you are going to seal the whole thing could you not just get base coat of cement on, then use multiply shades of canned paint to color different rocks then seal it?

yea but there is a problem with cement dye around the area where i live

its mad expensive and its hard to come by

i got quotes on some of the places
and its like 30 bucks per box to each color i want

its mad i tell you

soooooo

you guys mean to tell me i can cement it first
color with acrylic spray paint then epoxy

and thats iffff i cant get the color dyes rite?

..... and just for the early post with out pics....

give me till the 15th i will have something finished by then

That's odd cement dye is 5-8 bucks at like home depot or lowes, however I don't know where you are located. Also yes you can cement the background then paint with acrylic paints then epoxy.

great thanks

yea i dont know either
i know a guy who works in EXTECH
construction materials and he was charging me
175.00 for the sika seal and about 20 plus tax for the color
that comes in like 5 oz boxes

ace hardware i got the quikrete for 15$
and the epoxy for 17$

spray paints i guess i will have to go with
krylon i have to check the price on that

idk about gluing the parts together i thought "great stuff"
would be fine but then i thought about the parts inside my design
and i am not sure any more if the foam would leak in the holes i made on the in-inside the design so i am unsure if great stuff or all glass aquarium silicone will be just right

lol

i know me too but i got to wait now

i ordered my items

witch was cement and epoxy
and some acrylic paint from an artstore

and its being shipped to the store now i got to wait 3 to 8 days
gives me more time to think what else i can do see what else i can carve out

Here's a pic

Just a teaser

Wha ya think picaso or Whaaa

Lol
