DIY CO2 recipies

Have been reading online how to make a CO2 system to supplement my planted tank. I have a 40 gallon tank with 3 swords. Anyway I wanted to see if anyone on here who had experience doing it themselves had a recipe. How much water, sugar and yeast? If need baking powder?

For a 40, you would need larger containers or more bottles. It might not be worth it (buying supplies and mixing for alot of bottles every month) and you may be better off going with a pressurised system. This is just MHO
