So I'm going to start working on the DIY CO2 today since finals are over and I have the free time. I already have the tubing, check valve, sugar, and I'm going out the grab the yeast in a bit. I have two Captain Morgan glass bottles that I would love to use instead of a plastic bottle. I kknow pressure and all that would cause a better use out of the plastic, but can I get away with glass?

And can I put the hole in the lid with a hammar/nail? I don't have a drill and don't know how to get a hold of one until my parents get back from New Orleans.

Also, it's a 55g tank, so I'm going to do two CO2 systems. Should I consider a third? Or will two be enough?

A nail will work. Use superglue or aquarium silicon to seal er up! Also you need a drop checker to make sure ur c02 is stable, and a diffuser, right kow I'm just using an airstone, but there's better ways to go about that..
