Doing these should help you guys saving money from buying cartridges at store! Was hoping tomorrow to post up a step by step! Not sure if this is the right topic lol. Just wanna share of what I done!

Bottom two left is for my Aqueon 30
Bottom 2 right is for my Aqueon 10 (one is smaller lol didn't know the size till the second one)
Top is the carbon for my Aquaclear 70

HeH, that should work well. However, you shouldn't he changing the cartridges enough for it to make a dent in your wallet. They only need to be changed on average once or twice a year :)

I usually change mine completely every 6-8 months. Once a month I will rinse it off in a bucket of tank water when I do a water change. It's a sweet idea! But I agree with the previous poster. Shouldn't make a huge dent in the wallet. I have 13 tanks and the filter cartridges are the least amount of money! Haha
