Do angels "color up" as they grow?

From around nickel size, do their colors change at all? If so, what age? Thanks!

It all depends on what variety you have and what color they are now. I imagine they will still color. I have high orange coverage Koi angelfish juveniles that are a bit larger than nickel and they are just now coloring up. To get the boldest color, I've been feeding omega color flake and frozen baby brine shrimp. Do this especially when they are young to maintain good colors as they mature--some can fade depending on the strain.

I had an angel that I bought at about quarter size, it continued to color up since the day I got him. I ended up trading him in when he was about half dollar size because he became aggressive to my Bolivian rams.
