do i need a powerhead?

i am new and i'm wondering if i should buy a powerhead for my 60gal sw reef tank. i have a bak pak 2 skimmer and EHEIM 2215 filter. the only movement i get is from the filter and skimmer. is this enough? or should I buy a powerhead?

Probably a few PH and I recommend Maxi-Jet 1200s. You should be getting at least 600gph of movement in there, and skimmers don't count.

Yeah, skimmers are just considered 'bonus' movement, cuz they really don't stir up that much water.
some setups have 20 times turnover, or 1200gph in your size of tank. Get at least 600gph though

Instead of the MJ1200s, I would get MJ900s. They are about the same price and don't flow as much gph, but they are much more energy efficient (20w vs 8w) and produce less heat.
