Do I need to glue zoas

Or will the eventually attach themselves to the rock

They will attach themselves as they grow and spread. If you are placing some for the first time, you'll probably need to hold them onto the rock somehow before they attach themselves.

I recently got some Eagle Eye zoas. About 5 polyps. I gently tore them off the frag disk and set them next to my more established green zoa colony I have on a smallish satellite rock. After 2 weeks they're huge and colorful.

Get some gel cyanocrylate glue, like Gel Super Glue.
