Do I trust free MTS from LFS?

I would like to aquire some MTS and just read about people getting some for free from the LFS. I would like to do this also but have one question first.

Are MTS the only cone-shaped, small, freshwater snail? How likely am I to get an unwanted snail species?

I'm not aware of any snail species that you would encounter that would look like MTS but be something else. I got mine free from my LFS (when they snuck in on some plants) and now they have spread to five tanks with my assistance.

I wouldn't know about any other species neither. Got them for free from Petsmart and they burried into my substrate right away.

I wouldn't be suprised if you ended up with some different species, but you can tell the difference right away!
