Do Plants Repair Themselves?

Sorry if this seems like a silly question but I'm new to the plant world. I was wondering if plants repair themselves from nutrient deficiencies once the lacking nutrient has been provided?

IME, yes. I cannot say that for all plants, but I've seen crypts and swords recover nicely with nutrient enhancement.

Agree. Depending on the plant, it is often more effective to prune the affected leaves after addressing the deficiency, and then let the plant put its energy towards new growth, though.
