Do you really need a Undergravel filter?

I'd look at a power filter like an Aquaclear 200 for your tank . As for UGF brands , they're all pretty much the same .

I have one tank with a UGF, and one tank with an Aquaclear 200. Would definitely recommend the aquaclear. You get the choice of filter media, and it can store a lot of media compared to other filters (apparently)...
