Doctor Fish!

My LFS got in some Doctor fish but it was for the owners Dad since he has sorises and they're good for that.

I've, of course, had my fingers in the tank and it's awesome. I was thinking about keeping them and maybe even in the future breeding them if possible. They seem to be really commercially used for Spa's and whatnot so Googling for advice tends to lead to Spa sites.

Anyone have any advice? What do they eat besides dead human skin? What conditions do they need? How do they breed?

Do you mean psoriasis? They actually will pick off the dead skin from your body?

It's an awesome sensation. It's basically like a bunch of tiny catfish going around your finger. It's quite the hit in Asia.

I just googled it. When I saw 'doctor fish' I was thinking of the SQ type of surgeonfish!! I was way off!!

I tried this in Vietnam and it is a really odd feeling but i like them and think they would be quite a different species, i have no idea how to breed them or anything
