Does anyone know what this is on my mystery snail?

I have a beta and a mystery snail together and I noticed that my snail has been floating a lot and now it has this blue orb thing. Does anyone know what it may be?

Not any for sure on it, but guess would be poop. Did the snail eat a big meal in the previous days to seeing this thing hanging down?

I second the vote - poop. I have a Mystery that's a voracious eater and so a big pooper, and I've seen similar "trailers" tagging along as it travels. The upside is that the ones who eat a lot grow a lot too. This one put on 1/4" of new shell within the first two weeks of bringing her home.
