Recently I've noticed a few white spots on my gourami the other day. There is probably no more than 5-10 individual white spots, which is far less than what I've seen online. This is the first time I have noticed this, and have taken the precaution of putting Ich treatment in my tank. I have also considered sacrificing him for the good of the tank, but I only want to do that as a last resort. There are so few spots, though, that I don't know if its really Ich or something else. What do you guys think?
Things to note:
I have had this gourami for about a week and a half
None of our other fish have any white spots
We have another gourami who I have seen chase the other gourami (The one with possible ich) and peck him a little
We have no crustaceans
we have a snail problem (that just bloomed into a bigger problem last night)
