So I wanted to tell all the people who want a sump to just do it!
I was scarred to use a hob overflow but I have a eshopp it works great 1 year and NVR lost siphion
The next thing I hear is there is not enough room to have a refugium to make a difference...well in my case I have a 10g with 3 areas the first has filter floss(pellow filling) the second is my refuge it has liverock and cheto with a led bulb over it
The third chamber has my return pump

Since I have added my cheap dig sump I have been able to completely wipe out my cyano prob and hair algea
My phosphates and silicas are undetectable

Mabey its the refugium or mabey its just so much easier to change the filter media
Rather way its made me happy to see my tank:)

Please don't be scared just get itself a sump:)
Happy reefing

I just have an HOB for my 10g. Maybe if I was more handy I'd try my hand at making a sump.
