If you have a bathtub, just place it under a rubber bath mat and fill it with boiling water from the shower. The rubber mat should prevent it from floating

I use my bath tub for the kids I used a large plastic storage container for mine doesn't take nearly as long as you think to fill with boiled water.

I have a very light piece of wood that now has a piece of slate screwed to the bottom, can't even tell it has a huge anchor
