we have had colts in our tank for almost a year and the have grown to about 16 inches tall and split many times. they now look like bushes in the tank. well here is my question one of the smaller branches near the base of one is started drooping two days ago and now looks to be melting into a white slime. my water params are
calcium 430ppm
salinity 34ppm
p.h. 8.2
nitrite 0
nitrate 0
amonia .25
alk. 9.8 dkh
temp 78.5 morn- 79.6 eve
I have not had phos. tested for a few months but last was on the low side of o.k. water changes are done bi-weekly 15% carbon is run in power filter 24/7 the lighting is due for replacement but I dought this to be the cause. any ideas?
