Dwarf neon praecox constipated

O it seems that one of my praecox's is constipated. I'm starting to fast today and will not feed tomorrow, I'm doing a pwc tomorrow a well. I've increased the temp from 82 to 84 since ice read that it may kickstart the metabolism. I haven't done blanched peas yet. Any other tricks petit trade? He's Just swimming at the top cruising and seem to be breathing a bit heavier

Can you test the tank parameters? I am sorry about your little guy. Hopefully the fasting helps!

Ammonia and nitrite are 0ppm and nitrates are 10ppm and ph is 7.4. In gonna fast for 2 days and then feed spiraluna and see if that helps

Sounds good! Sometimes epsom salt baths can help with constipation too if fasting doesn't work. There are also peas.

So far he's with just the fasting and increase in temp he's slimming now and swimming all over the tank now and has his color back:d so happy I love my Praecox!
