Dwarf Neon Rainbows + GoldFish

I saw an amazing shoal of dwarf neon rainbows at the LFS and am planning on buying a few.

I have a 70 Gallon tank with 12 Fancy Goldfish, 2 zebra danios and 5 apple snails. The guy at the

I need to know if I can keep the dwarf neon rainbows with my current lot. The guy at the LFS said that they will get along well, need to be sure !

I think goldfish need cooler water than the rest of the fish, but I could be wrong.

Rainbows are a tropical species and require a lot warmer waters than goldfish and other cooler water fish. They won't be compatable unfortauntely.

Sounds like an excuse for another tank!

Set up another tank for the rainbows. You won't be disappointed.
