Dyed danios?

It isn't harful to the fish per se because the flourescece is written into their genes, and not injected like in dyed fish. UV just describes light in the spectrum just above visible violet. Most consumer grade UV lights don't have the intensity to cause major cell damage.
 
The only thing about glofish is that they have a patent on them and you cannot breed and sell them. There is nothing wrong with them, they are not harmed in any way, but if they breed in your tank you can't profit from the fry.
