Hi people. I have just returned from a four month tour with the Air Force and my girlfriend has been looking after my tank . She has done a great job but some of my plants are showing abut of dead leaf and decay . They have almost doubled in height but lost leaves on the bottom of the stalk and the ones left are dying? Any help?

Without any other information I would say you're having a nutrient deficiency.

More experienced members are going to want to know what your dosing regimen is, your lighting you're using as well as photo period, and water parameters.

Probably some sort of nutrient deficiency is why the top leaves are dying, and its possible that because they've grown taller your lighting isn't strong enough to penetrate to the bottom leaves

You definitely have some nutrient deficiencies going on. Are you dosing any type of fertilizer? If so which one? Also what is your lighting? Are you using any liquid carbon such as Excel or CO2? Lastly what plants are in the tank?
