Dying Rams!:(

Hey, I have 3 rams and a 4 inch pleco in my 30 gal tank. Last night i looked in my tank and everything looked fine everyone was acting normal and energetic, i woke up this morning and found one of my rams dead, he was beaten to a pulp and had torn fins what killed him???

That might have happened post mordem.


Was he smaller or weaker? im not sure how rams behave but from what I do know they are supposed to be docile as can be.

How are the other rams doing?

High nitrates maybe. Do a check and post results.
