Earthquakes?

My excitement for aquaria is boundless. It seems like only those on the outside can point out some of the obvious setbacks of this hobby. Tank cleaning and PWCs are a necessary evil. There's also something I haven't thought about until someone brought it up. Being in California, we have earthquakes. Has anyone encountered problems? Are there preventative measures I can take?

You could go with Acrylic tank rather then glass and use a very sterdy stand. Also keep things clear that may fall on the tank. Jsut take precautions that you think will help.
