Eco-Complete Fine: Gone?

Has anyone heard anything about the fine grade Eco-Complete? I've been searching high and low online and in stores and I can't seem to locate it anywhere. I saw on another forum that it might be discontinued. Anyone heard anything?

I'm trying to order some from my LFS. In the case he can't get it for me, would Seachem Flourite Black Sand be a suitable substitute? I love the fine grain look and I want something that is not inert (I'm using gravel now).

The regular is fine enough and I do think they got rid of the finer stuff since its already so light weight, and the finer stuff was known to have problems holding plants down.
