Eco-Complete & Flourite together?

Was just wondering from anyone who has used both Eco-complete and flourite, whether they noticed a huge difference in plant growth? Also would it be fine to put a layer of Eco-Complete down then a layer of flourite on top of that?

They are very similar in nutrient content and cost, so you might as well go either or IMO unless you just want the mixed look. If you put one on top of the other, they will eventually mix....but it would be fine.

If you are looking for more nutrients, use Flourite or Eco and dose ferts in the water column so the plants get them both ways.
