I found the most beautiful eel I have ever seen in my life at Vivid this weekend. Apparently it is a (Rhinomuraena quaesita) better known as a Juvinile Blue Ribbon Eel. The question I have is a dietary one. What the **** do they eat? I have read soooo much about these beauties not wanting to grub. I have tried to spot feed it silversides and krill but to no avail. This SOB is easily spooked wen I try to feed it. He or she is at least 30 inches long and it looks exremely healthy. Has anyone ever had experience with these fellas? I am not a newbie but this is my first eel.

Try feeding enriched ghost shrimp until you can train it over to prepared. The diet should be that of bony fish such as silversides, capelin, herring, and other non-fatty/oily fish 2-3 times weekly.
