I have a pair of german blue rams that have been spawning every month or so in my community tank. The only problem is that they aren't very good at keeping the other fish away, and the eggs or fry are always all eaten by the first week.

What I was thinking of doing was making some kind of enclosure to keep the fry in / other fish out, from plexiglass or something. I would want to keep it in the current tank, mounted on the side or something, because I don't have any empty cycled tanks, with filters / heaters / whatever. does anyone have any advice or ways of doing this? maybe something I haven't thought of?
