Eheim pump 1262 upgrade to 1264

Hi all. I have a 6x2x2 tank with sump. Stock is Malawi cichlids, with crushed coral substrate and some large rocks. These fish like to dig so there always seems to be a lot of debris floating around.

Was considering upgrading the return pump from eheim 1262 to 1264 for the higher flow rate.

Anyone able to share their experience with these pumps? Would it be worth upgrading?
