Help! My poor six year old goldfish is extremely sick the moment I came back from vacation after leaving it alone for 2 days.
It's belly is extremely fat and bloated. It might have dropsy? I research some stuff and realized that dropsy is fatal and have very small chance, but I still want to do all I can!
I'm pretty sure it's a male fish.
It's anal is red and it looks like it scale either got teared up?!
It could either be dropsy or it could also be its digestive system not going through?

I transferred it to an emergency hospital tank. I had to find an one gallon glass bowl as a temporary. I also put airstone for air. Should I remove it or keep it for now? I added aquarium salt and put in half of the old water and half clean water in with API Stress Coat to clean tap water.
It is now room temperature water at like 70 Fah?
What are my next steps? I would have got medicine and antibiotic but all the pet stores are closed super early today!
Any suggestion or tips will be appreciated on saving my prized fish!
Edit: It looks pretty bad. It might not even survive the night. But I'm really hoping it can turn it around!
