Emergency help (kind of)

I upgraded from a 10 to 20h today. I was wrongly informed about the footprint. I was told they they were the same, but sadly they aren't. I need some help quick because my mom doesn't want to spend any more money on my tanks and the hood doesn't fit on the tank. I have several live plants and they will die without light for a few weeks.

Are you sure its a 20H? How tall is it in inches? And the length?

I thought it would fit too. Just use something to hold the light on the tank. Like 2 boards or something

Just use some long peaces of wood to hold it until you can do better.

what kind of light do you have? what kind of plants? putting a light from a 10 to a 20 high is going to significantly reduce the level of light and might not be able to support your plants

Krissycakes suggested using plastic hangers. They are working really good and don't look as bad.
