Is the emperor 280 bio wheel good for a sanded tank ?

It's fine. Just try not to stir up the sand too much or have the intake too close to the sand. If it gets into the impeller housing it MIGHT start making loud grinding noises (not like this filter is the quietest).

Lol I know it's not the quietest but yet the flow is relaxing ?
