Help Identifying Spiny Eel

Hello everyone,

I picked up another spiny eel I currently house 1 peacock. I was at the fish store when I saw this small spiny eel, so cool. They did not know which one he was, just that they bought him as a spiny eel. I've attached a photo if anyone can help me narrow it down. He kinda looks like a half-banded or Ocellated.

All help is appreciated!

The picture's kind of dark but it looks like a tire track eel ( Mastacembelus armatus )to me. Look that up and compare to yours.

Tire tracks seem to be more round and almost like giant spots.. this guy has lines.

See if you can get a lighter picture of the eel showing the pattern.
