Feather duster like growth on crawfish - is this a parasite?

Hi!

My son has a blue crawfish and it recently molted. I was giving her tank a update and noticed these feather duster like growth that look to be attached under her carapace.

I’m trying to identify what it is to know how to treat or if it’s something natural. Thanks!

Certainly doesn’t look natural. I don’t know much about crays but that sure looks like a fungus.
