Got two feather dusters yesterday and immediately one got attacked and eaten by a naussario snail. Wow, a $10 snail food. Is this normal? The other one is ok for now.

Are you sure the snail ate it? I've had a duster with nassarius snails and they didn't touch it. Maybe it was eating algae on the tube?

It might have been injured or already dead. I doubt a nassarius would eat a healthy specimen.

Feather dusters will drop their crown if they're stressed. It may grow back, it might move to another location, or it might be dead. Time will tell.
