feeder fish in a 15 gallon tank

How many Rosy Red feeders I can put in a 15 gallon?? Would 12 be too much???

Can I just use a Sponge Filter??

How fast are they being fed as food? I usually ha about 8-10 in a 2.5 gallon, of course they didn't spend a lot of time there, they were fed to my water snake. If there not to be used as feeders, I would only get 4-6 in a 15 gal. They get pretty big 3+.

As Wolf said it depends on how long your going to keep them in there.

Being in the comet family they produce more ammonia than other fish. I would get a small HOB filter like a small Whisper or Penguin.

Are they for your turtles?

I might keep them in the 15 gallon for awhile coz I want to feed them first and make sure they are not sick, then I will feed it to my Oscar and turtles
