I've had one of these guys for a couple of weeks now.
At the advice of the store owner where I purchased the fish, I let him get accustomed to my tank for 3 days before feeding him. At that point, I put 15 small goldfish in. Although I've yet to actually see him eat any of these, the number of goldfish in the tank dwindled down to 4 within 3 or 4 days. However, since then he hasn't eaten any and the remaining 4 fish are still alive.
He seems healthy, but I'm a little concerned that he's not eating the remaining fish. Does anyone know how often these catfish need to eat? Also, do you have any recommendations for other live food besides goldfish - so that I can mix things up every now and then?
