Hi all,
Can we substitute commercial aquarium fertilizer with those for household use. I know it's unsuitable because high percentage of phosphate. There's any way to remove phosphate ? Thanks

Nope, the household varieties also contain trace chemicals to aid in the time release so not to shock houseplants. These are not good for your tank. Go with an aquarium phosphate free product.
