Aquarium Advice Newbie
So I made a small brackish tank for a fiddler crab, with an underwater island and it's pretty awesome.
We've had one fiddler in this 10g, with a sand substrate and plenty of plants for him to snack on or uproot.
My question to you good people: how on earth do you keep crab tanks with the amount of fecal matter these put out? Two days and there's little dark pellets everywhere!
Is there a fish or invert that will break down crab poop? Should I just be patient?
I have been doing weekly water changes, and vacuuming up debris and such, but I don't want to stress my plants too much by having to uproot them every week to get at the poop.
Your advice is appreciated.
