Now I know I need a slimmer as I prefer a substrate.

Anyone know of a good hob skimmer?
Tank not drilled and not sure how to drill a tank

I'm running a reef octopus bh-1000. Got it for about $200. Works amazingly.

UPDATE: got 2 new fish. Goldstripe maroon clownfish, and an orchid dottyback. Problem is, I can't post anymore pictures:(:(

Here we go with some pics!

Should I go sps dominated or anemone dominated? I love the look of both.

Ahaha yeah my mother would murder me if I told her I was getting another tank. I'm afraid that when I get a bta, my clown will become very aggressive and territorial if it decides to host it

Not yet! The bottom is dirty however. I need to clean it up lol

Yea i got a little bit of dust in my tank from the rocks ill probablt siphone it out tho have you found cycling to be more difficult?

I really like your bare bottom tank, think I might set up another tank bare bottom.

not really because i had put most of my dry rock in my old system for about 2 weeks so bacteria could grow on it. Also I used about 25-35 lbs of LR with about 40 lbs of dry rock. I used Dr Tims One and Only nitrifying bacteria to help speed up the cycle. I haven't had any problems so far! My corals look great and my fish seem happy!
