Wow! That looks great. I would of personally gone for some "smooth" sand for that nice finish look, witch looks really amazing, but your tank looks natural with the rocks and the sand that match well!:D

I love your tank setup! It looks great. Can't wait to see what it looks like when you get fish in it. Be sure and post pictures.

When you add the water, slowly pour it onto an upside down plate to reduce its effects on its surroundings. Just a tip, good luck with cycling, PM me if you need any help.

Il add some closups

And i was thinking of addin some catfish or some cory cats but im not sure how to look after them any opinions

Looks badass and crispy. Love the tank. How'd you get that whole set up for 250$?? And with bronze/green corys, depending on how many you get, just add a bottom feeder food or make sure enuf falls. They are relentless eaters

1) no i did not silicone any rocks in place as they all fit together like lego?
2) the tank was 150 the lid was 30 poolsand is about 8 i had all the stones from my garden and all the driftwood an plants are frm my previous tank. The bulbs are 13 each for a 30w an i bought some fish it all cane to $250
3) one common plec (rescued frm a 10 gall he is 7"! I knw and he will be moved when bigger)
9 red fin tetras
7 scissor tails
2 harlaquins
1 mono serbae ( know bout the brakish)
1 sword tail
1 balloon mollie
1 platy
6 black widows
2 gouramis golden and opaline ( very peaceful dudes)

Very nice. Do your gouramis eat off the ground too? My four three spot blues are pigs! They eat everything in sight.
