Aquarium Advice Regular
So,
I kinda jumped in the deep end without measuring on this one.
Wifey wanted a koi pond, so i figured why not. After some advice from others we settled on doing 2 1 small pond (110g) to use as a growth pond before putting into a larger pond (1500g plus)
After some back and forth we picked up a 110g water/feed trough from tractor supply to use as our liner. The problem i have though is i just cant figure out the how to set up a proper filtration system for it.
(my wife jumped the gun and bought 4 koi before i finished the pond) they are currently in a 29g aquarium which even with (to my knowledge) proper filtration(aquapapa corner filter on 20g air pump, and penguin 200b) stays cloudy and dirty so im thinking i am underestimating the bioload needed which is making me wonder what to do for the pond. I know a 29g aquarium is not correct size for them so i really want to finish the pond as soon as possible.
