Hi. I'm Malcolm from coventry, England. I've had tropical tanks and cold water for best part of 30 years (I was around 10) as my son has a cold water tank and melt eldest daughter has a tropical tank. I thought that I would venture into marine. Wanted too for years but couldn't turn my back on tropical.
My tank has been maturing for around 4 weeks now, all the chemicals etc are under control and the tank is all set up and ready for my first few fishes in a few weeks. I hope over the next 12 months or so to set up a mixed tank with only a few corals. I'd really appreciate any tips. I've also got a few creatures appear from the live rock I could do with a little advice on. I've added pictures but I'm a little concerned that the I have a glass anemone which I'm told are best got rid of and a lovely little orange 6 legged starfish. Can anybody tell me what it is for definite. Thanks.
