There not dead till they are dead. I would get a small setup with ro water and put in some jungle salt and slim coat to put him in.

Your nitrates should be no more than 20 and a water change soon is recommended.

Yeah those nitrates are too high, I'd do a 75% WC

I did a 50% wc just to be sure.

Im sorry that happned. Anytime I have lost a pet before a long life I ask myself what did I learn from them. I would recommend you look into setting up a hospital tank. They can be very cheap if you would like some advise?
