My fish is dieing..... I feel so bad because hes suffering and everyone keeps telling me to flush him but i think thats horrible. is there anything I can do?

Welcome to AA!
First we need a lot more info to be able to help you and your fish.
What size tank?
What kind of fish?
How many fish altogether and how many?
How long has the tank been set up?
Is the tank cycled?
What is the ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH?
When was the last water change? How much?
What is happening to the fish?
If you don't understand any of my questions please ask!

Also, assuming the poor guy doesn't make it, don't flush your fish. If it has some sort of disease, said pathogen could potentially find its way into the waterways. When I loose fish, I either bury them in the yard (if it's a tetra or something like that) or bury them in a flower pot if they're special fish (bettas, and my rams :( ).
