Pet store sold this fish as misc. Anyone have any ideas. I though maybe a chalceus. Image1484109844.520202.jpg

It may be a red-tailed black shark which is also known as a redtail sharkminnow, maybe do some research into them like their description just to make sure.

The scales seem too big to be a red tailed shark. I think it is probably a pink or red tail chalceus.

Pink chalceus. My LFS has some of these. they get pretty good size, need groups, and are predatory.

Thanks! I'll make sure to pick up a couple more next time I visit my lfs. Do you think they can live with my silver arowana when they get bigger? Right now the aro is about 11 inches.
