Ok I lied to get you here. I'm far from a fish specialist. I've been running a 55 gallon for about a year. I recently finished with my setup on my 230 gallon.

I'm currently in the process of slowly adding fish from the 55 gal into the 230 gal tank.

The only thing I've done out the norm was mix a pirahna with my other fish. I like breaking the rules, so I added him while he was very small, compared to my other fish.

The pirahna is started to look more dangerous..lol I suspect him of nippin my Jack dempsey. Funny thing is I've been seeing the Jack chase him around. I probably will eventually have to seperate him from the other fish.

The only fish I've lost was from Jack Dempsey killing him. He killed my first tiger ocsar.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Well, in this short amount of time the Piranha has showed aggression toward every fish. Even though they all seemed to get along at first, this is not going to work. The piranha will eventually get the 55 gal to himself. I may possibly add some more piranha. I know better now and none of my fish were seriously harmed. Also, from AA I've learned better sources for estimating fish size. This brings me to the realization that I have to find Pacu a new home. :( He'll be missed, but in reality unless you have 300 gal or more then Pacu will eventually out grow the tank. :?
