Fishless cycle problems! Help!

Did you vac up all the fish food when you did a water change? Does the result look green or blue green again? Have you tested your tap for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate? Some more info will help!

I did vac up all the food and some roots that were floating around that had been settled at the bottom! It looks now like its at 4! And no I haven't tested my water for those yet but I will in a minute!

If you have any decaying plant matter then yes that can add ammonia to the tank

Ok, I have since then removed the dead plants! Lets hope It helps! Thank you!
