Fishless cycle

Hi, I am doing the fishless cycle and its been running for 3 weeks.

Ammmonia always goes to zero in 8 - 12 hours. Should I add ammonia to 1 - 2pmm every 12 hour or 24 hour or when ammonia is zero?

The nitrite is still in progress.

Ya, the nitrite is at 5ppm and nitrate is at 10ppm.
I am waiting for nitrite to drop.
So I am keeping add ammonia to 2-3ppm when ammonia is zero. I am not sure if I should add ammonia every 8 - 12 hour or when ammonia is zero.

I would stop adding ammonia until nitrIte is at or close to 0 PPM. Then add 2 - 3 PPM ammonia, and wait until Ammo and NitrIte is back to 0 PPM.
