He's been in now for about 24 hours and has been out and about since the start.
He's a male at around 2/3" and he cost £17.99.
I drip acclimated for around 2 hours before throwing him in, he attached himself to the glass almost instantly.
This was him yesterday, lights on, hanging from a rock, I guess he found an algae abundance under there somewhere.
Everyone had been telling me that they hardly ever see their BN's, how it'd be hiding away for weeks before I'd see him.
Well, it appears I've picked up a brave one.
This is him now:
First time I've properly seen his pattern, have to admit, compared to others I've seen, he's gorgeous.
His current tank mates are 20 various African Cichlids all around his size, he's managed to avoid pretty much all conflict, when he got dropped in not a single fish noticed him.
All in all, I'm pretty happy with this new addition, it's an amazing fish for a start, it gives you a free game of Hide-and-Seek every time you look into the tank..
...and he's already cleaned up one rock!
