So this was a bit strange. I just did a quick 10gal PWC (another 10gal on sunday). A few minutes afterwards, I noticed to my initial horror, my largest Denison Barb starting to flash ... followed a minute later by a green barb, then a blackruby, then an odessa barb ... etc..etc...etc
. Within 10 minutes 8 - 9 different Barbs were flashing against DW, Plants, Gravel etc .. drove me nuts.
I started freaking out
and thought the 5 gallon water jug I use for PWC's was contaminated ... thinking my wife used it for house cleaning (she did not). I go online and slight pH changes due to the added dissolved minerals and temp with a PWC may cause some flashing? It's been about 30 min since the PWC ... all is back to normal .. no further flashing.
